The Live Stream plugin lets users visiting page or your site share activity and comments in real time.With the Live Stream Box on your page or website, users can share updates that appear both within the Live Stream Box and on their Facebook profiles and in their friends.
How to add Facebook live stream box
1. First go to Facebook Developers home page, setup application by filling required information and get Facebook application "ID"
2. Now go to your page where you want to add Live stream box, install Static FBML application.
If you don't know how to add Static FBML visit Static FBML tutorial.
3.Add the following code to your page's Static FBML box and replace the "your application id" with your application id which you got after setting up application.
<fb:live-stream event_app_id="YOUR_APPLICATION_ID" width="400" height="500"/>
Save the changes and visit the tab to see if it is working or otherwise.
you can also customize the height and width of live stream box to your liking.
I just found the live stream box, and use it for my live webcasts. I am very disappointed to fond out the it is being discontinued in September, and would like to know if there is a true replacement for it. The comments box is not going to fill my needs.
