This setting only prevents users from running programs that are started by the Windows Explorer process. It does not prevent users from running programs such as Task Manager, which are started by the system process or by other processes.
1. Click on start menu.
2. Then click on run and type gpedit.msc in it and click on ok.
3. You will see the user configuration and computer configuration, expand user configuration menu if it is not already expanded.
4. On user configuration expand the administrative templates.
5. On administrative templates click on the system menu.
6. On the right side You will find the "run only allowed application"and also "don't run specified windows application" options.
7. Double click the option and click on enable and specify the applications you want to run or specify the applications you don't want to run and click on ok.
