A More Expressive Like Button "Reactions"

Facebook has started testing its new like button today called "Reactions" with 6 different emoji namely  Like, Love, Haha, Yay, Wao, Sad and Angry
Here is Mark Zuckerberg post and video on launching and explaining new like button:
Today we're launching a test of Reactions -- a more expressive Like button.
The Like button has been a part of Facebook for a long time. Billions of Likes are made every day, and Liking things is a simple way to express yourself.
For many years though, people have asked us to add a "dislike" button. Not every moment is a good moment, and sometimes you just want a way to express empathy. These are important moments where you need the power to share more than ever, and a Like might not be the best way to express yourself.
At a recent Townhall Q&A, I shared with our community that we've spent a lot of time thinking about the best way to give you better options for expressing yourself, while keeping the experience simple and respectful. Today we're starting to test this.
Reactions gives you new ways to express love, awe, humor and sadness. It's not a dislike button, but it does give you the power to easily express sorrow and empathy -- in addition to delight and warmth. You’ll be able to express these reactions by long pressing or hovering over the Like button.
We’re starting to test Reactions in Ireland and Spain and will learn from this before we bring the experience to everyone. We hope you like this – or can better express how you’re feeling!

Some Frequently Asked Questions About Heartbleed

You may have heard of heartbleed the famous bug that spread the panic all over the internet world so you may have some questions in your mind which I tried to answer by doing some research which are:

What is heartbleed bug?
The Heartbleed is a bug that allows hackers to read the memory of any system using OpenSSL encryption, allowing them to retrieve server ssl private keys which includes a private master key through which attackers can decrypt current or stored traffic in server memory which is data that have been send through Secure servers by using encryptions.

This bug can also cause hackers to hack unencrypted parts of users' sensitive requests and responses, including any form data in users' requests, session cookies and passwords.

From how long this bug is present
This bug is present in OpenSSL 1.0.2-beta, as well as all versions of OpenSSL in the 1.0.1 series except 1.0.1g, so we can easily say that it can be more than two years since this bug has been existed as these versions are in use from more than two years.

What should I do?

If you are owner of secure web server you need to test your server using different online methods in which some of them are

If you have found vulnerability you can patch it by using OpenSSL version 1.0.1g or you can recompile OpenSSL with -DOPENSSL_NO_HEARTBEATS, which will disable the vulnerable feature.

If you are a common Internet user your area of concern would the service you use like email, social networking, Online banking facilities or any other so the chances that you may have been affected by the bug as most of famous websites which includes Facebook, Google, Wikipedia, Twitter, Yahoo, Amazon and other famous websites also got affected, although Facebook and Google have patched the vulnerability. From here you can checkout the top 1000 websites that are affected by the bug according to scan performed on April 8 by github user.

Should i change my password?

Most of the top websites have patched the vulnerability so you may get notification to change your password which you should but if you are using services which are not that famous then chances are they may not inform you that you need to change your password or they have resolve the issue, so before changing passwords on these type of sites first check the vulnerability through Online tools which I mentioned earlier, if bug is still there then changing password will be of no use so you have to wait until the bug has been fixed.

Some FAQs About Blogger

In this post I will share some very useful links for those people who have just started using the blogger so that they can find answers to some of their basic questions easily.

How to generate Meta tags automatically for each blogger post
Although Meta tags are not that much compulsory as they were before but still they effect how the search results are shown. In blogger you have to manually add Meta tags in template, but adding separate meta tags in each post is nearly impossible if you have hundreds of posts.

Google +1 (recommendation) feature

Google plus one +1 (recommendation) feature

Google recently in its official blog has announced a new feature called “+1” button for search results. This is something like recommendation button shown along with the each search result, by pressing this button it will be shown in search results to your friends(your friends, chat buddies and contacts in Google) that you have “+1’d this” (that you like or recommend this) if they have search for the same term. Now for example your friend searches for the term “computer tips and tricks” and find a site which is very useful for him he may press “+1” button, now when you will search for the same term the search results will be shown along with your friends recommendations “the name of your friend +1’d this” or may be the number of other people will be shown that how many people have “+1’d” (recommended or liked) the particular search result.

Following are some requirements to use this feature:

Google profile:

You need a Google profile to use +1 feature, if you don’t have any profile you can create from here.

Make sure you're signed into your Google Account:

This feature also required that you have be signed in to your Google Account so that your name can be listed along with the search results or the name of your friends can be shown, if don’t have any Google account you can create it from here.

This feature is in its initial stages they are slowly rolling it out to Google.com in English, they are also planning to show the recommendations from your friend which are on other social networking site like twitter or may be other so that you can get the most relevant recommandations.

As Google is slowly rolling out this feature it may not be available to you but you can try this feature by visiting Google experiment site.

I think this feature will be very useful as you don’t have to check every search result to find the best one, by using this feature you have to only check that how many of your friends or other people recommends it(+1’d this), saving your lot of time and bytes.

How To Choose The Best Anti-Virus

give professional look to your page only tips and tricks

There are many antivirus softwares available in the market, in which most of them use signature based detection system and some others may use Heuristic-based detection system. But the problem with signature based detection system is that the antivirus will not be able to detect the new virus without its signature, this means you have to update your antivirus on daily bases or may be until you update your antivirus the virus may have done its job. So in order to tackle this problem some antivirus use day zero protection or real time protection by using different techniques like Code Analysis, Generic Signatures and Emulation.
So you have to choose the antivirus which uses these detection techniques more efficiently and effectively, it requires bit of time and research, but there are some independent sources online which will do the job for you by conducting different tests.
